This year I didn't do so well in Technology. It was fun I guess but I'd like the school to have more options. We participated in many projects this year in Technology Class at NOMS.
We've done alot more work with making videos and editing this year. We made Public Service Announcements to make an opinionated statement of our choice.
As we head into our first years of highschool, we learned about copyright infringement. We learned what the consequences were for not citing our sources when using information from the internet or other valuable sources. One project we did to practice these skills was making a video on Windows Movie Maker with images and music from links we were given and we were expected to add credits at the end to give some of credibility to those who were willing to put their work on the internet.
We learned to use Microsoft Excel to make spreadsheets. Mr. Eaton knew spreadsheets are not fun. So he gave us a project to help us understand how to make a spreadsheet but also what you can do besides finances or research. We made mad libs by editing a common nursery rhyme of our choice.
